A co-ex bottle is a co-extruded plastic bottle blow moulded from two or more resin layers that fuse into one wall in a single operation. Each layer does a different job: the outer layer carries the colour and finish, the middle layer blocks light or carries regrind, and the inner layer stays virgin food or pharma-grade resin in contact with your product.

Because the layers are formed together on the extrusion line rather than glued or sleeved afterwards, a co-ex bottle behaves as a single component on your filling line.
